Hello, I apologize in front as I'm not a tech expert and English is not my dominant language but I will try my best to communicate my problem.

I've had my Helios 300 for about 7-8 months now, had to buy it on USA and bring it here to Colombia, so I doubt the warrant will apply on me (also I've tried to reach some acer tech support and haven't found one yet, idk if there's actually one to contact with in the first place, any help on that as well would be great).

The issue began with the fang, particularly the right fan (looking at the screen, the one on the right), it began making noises and work at a lower speed. This last week it got worse, started making some eery weird sounds to the point it basically stopped working properly, the Predator sense showed it was spinning, but at least 30% less than the left fan. In my despair I freaked out and thought I could solve the problem by cleaning the vents, so went to YouTube and followed a video about changing thermal paste which also involved cleaning the fans, so I dismantled the case, dismantled the fans and indeed, there was a lot of dust to clean!, after I finished brushing and carefully cleaning the fans, put everything back together and hoped for the noise to stop only to get an even worse outcome... The PC won't boot!!!

Now I don't have any idea what happened, but went here to the forums and tried some of the solutions, disconected and reconnected the RAM, unplugged the battery and press the START button for 5, 10, 12 and even 30 seconds, I noticed the charger LED was on, first blue, then eventually Orange, I wasn't sure when to plug or unplug the device so I tried several ways... And nothing, even worse, while I was testing the USB 3.1 ports to charge external devices, I noticed that even tho the PC wasn't "running" (or so I thought), it was getting warmer, like if was working, but the fans were not working at all and it just kept getting warmer, I decided that the best thing to do was to disconnect the battery again and come here asking for help... The timing is the worst, I'm studying right now and I need my PC ASAP!!!

Any advices on what to do?

Thank you

Also, I would like to add, that the keyboard boots and shows the lights of the keys for about 5 seconds but the fans or the screen won't start up, then it all shuts down apparently.

I'm also aware that the people that offers help, might want to know the model and numbers about my PC, and I would love to look for them but it's 4 AM and I honestly can't do that much anymore, but once they respond I'll be as cooperative as posible.

About the continues heating, I unplugged the battery, what I assume is the lithium battery (the one with the cables on the board of the PC right below an m2 slot if I'm not wrong) and it stopped heating, at least I could prevent my PC from catching on fire... 😅
