is there anyway to update the gtx 1080 max-q driver for the triton 700 (pt715-51)

the certified drivers from acer are really old. I'm having issues with some games that newer drivers ostensibly would fix.

    I have read that I could use the regular nvidia driver, but could have negative performance implications.

    destroslithoid of course its the normal nvidia driver theres no special drivers for the max-q gpus on nvidia u only have 2 types of drivers either consumer geforce or creators quadro drivers those are the only options but do not expect the latest drivers to work better they were not optimised for your gpu as its already old they are optimised for the new gpus only so try to use a older driver from 6 months ago or even older im still on 416.94 no issues here good luck :)
