I just bought a PNY480 gb ssd and I need help installing it into my ACER.  My model is ATC-605-UB10.  I would like some general help with installing it.
One question I have up front is would I have to buy a cable to connect the ssd internally?
Thanks in advance for any help.

    Dear Trebor8617,

I do not have the same computer, so I cannot offer specific help. In general, you will need a SATA cable and a SATA power connector. It will be a good idea that you open up the PC chassis and take a look inside first.

    1)  Is there any still open SATA connector on the motherboard so you can plug the SATA data cable
    2)  Is there any still available SATA power connector from the power supply wires
    3)  Where you are going to mount the SSD? There are mounting holes for the screws? Will the data cable and power connector         cable long enough to reach there?
    4) Some SSD manufacturers do not give you the four mounting screws, make sure you have the right screws.

Seems like you do not have a data cable yet, you may need to buy one SATA3 data cable for that.
