Having difficulty plugin charger for my Aspire 7 A715-75G-50SA

Does anyone know what is the correct way to insert charger plug into the power port of the Acer Aspire 7  A715-75G-50SA. I am unable to insert afraid of putting too much pressure if it breaks!!

You have to exert some pressure when you reach a point, but it shouldn't be much.

I don't know how to explain it, but say I'd say it goes about 80% of the way as if it was just sliding through an empty space without connecting to anything and then it's like it hits something, that's when you apply some pressure and that's it, connected.
