Heh heh heh... looks a lot like my A515-54G :disappointed:

I'm afraid there may not be a secondary slot, there's no way to tell via software (with all certainty) how many slots a machine has I'm afraid. If there is a model of the A315-55G that comes with integrated (read: soldered) RAM, it would be on the other side of the board. In your case you may just find the place where the RAM chips would be, but that's it, no socket to put in the second stick (and single channel it is for you). Or that's where the second socket would be.

My money is in the former though, something like this:

Thanks for answer :) i forgot to write 2nd question : can use/install keyboard of a315-56 for a315-55g ? Or lets say where i can buy keybaord with backlit for 55g?
About ram : then there is one way - buy 16gb stick which is expensive:(

While I don't know the specifics for that model, I could give you my experience with the A515-54G and if it's any indication of things maybe yours follows the same pattern.

My sub-model came without a retro-illuminated keyboard as well, and while examining the board I noticed the connector for those kinds of keyboards was there, which is a good thing. The bad thing is that the keyboard seems to be "welded" for lack of a better word, with some plastic rivets to the palmrest, so they're one and the same. Replacing the keyboard becomes a pain in the derrière and it's better to just buy the piece of the you need if Acer in your location is able to provide it for you.

People in ACE may be able to help you know which is the part number you'd be looking for, since you have already stated your full model number all you'd need to do is ask (in a different thread) and hope they can provide you with the information. Then contact your local Acer branch for assistance.

Aaaaaalll of that is if your laptop is in fact like mine, it may be different and replacing the keyboard just a breeze in the park, who knows.
