Okay, let's try to have this sorted out.

So your PC came with a license for Windows 10 Home (Single Language), and you wanted to upgrade to Windows 10 Home, is that so? Where did you buy the key for Windows 10 Home?

As long as you have a valid key for Windows 10 Home (or Pro, or whatever) you can always reinstall Windows and activate it with that key. You'll still have a Home Single Language key embedded in your motherboard because that's what the computer came with, but there should be no problem activating the thing.

Oh, you went the other way around? How come?

I wonder if you can go from Home to Home Single Language, it was my understanding that Home Single Language was a version of Home just locked so you can only use it with a single language and you can't add any other.

In any case, if there is no upgrade path from Home to Home Single Language you might need to reinstall Windows using a Home Single Language installation media (no idea where to get that to be honest, unless it's English you want, that one I have).

Download windows 10 latest version 2004 from Microsoft and create an ISO file on a USB stick this will allow you to reinstall windows on your laptop. You will have to change your boot setup in bios to the USB drive, and when you boot it will find the drive and install win 10 When it looks for a Windows Product key just click don't have a key and the installation will complete it will pick up you key when its installed in your system hope this works for you.
