Hello...I have updated my laptop to latest version of Windows 10 (was windows 10 before). Then I turn it on next day I feel the colours are not Sharpe & vibrant. They are like colour blind. You can see pinkish band on the top & the YouTube icon on the taskbar on red but black. Is it software problem or hardware. What should I do?

That line up there in the display does seem to suggest it to be a hardware fault, but what is your model anyway? I'd like to give you directions on how to uninstall the graphics drivers and reinstall a proper one but without that I just can't.

For example, mine is an A515-54G, the sub-model (the part that goes after that) is for now unimportant but you can post it fully, not problem at all. It just IDs the pieces your hardware does and it's nothing personally identifying.

Seeming a hardware fault I am surprised it coincided with a Windows upgrade, that's why I'd like to try the different drivers first and see what happens.

I see, you have two, Intel and NVIDIA's, the one driving the desktop at that moment must be the integrated one, Intel so let's start there.

Download the original one from the support page, and then disconnect from the network. If it asks you to reboot, you can do it, but keep the device from connecting to the net for now. Then install that one and see what happens, if at some point (without driver, or with the driver again) the display shows things differently.

You could also try to do the same with the latest driver from Intel and see what happens. As for the NVIDIA card, this would be the official one and this the latest one.

If nothing work and you'd like to try a BIOS update (I saw at some point they updated the graphics BIOS) this one would be the latest version.

Nothing works...I tried connecting to external monitor & there was no problem at all... So the problem is only with this particular monitor...tell me should need to change the whole monitor or it can be repaired?
