My ACER ASPIRE A315-55G:
New since Febr-2020
Windows 10 Home  Version 1909

Bluetooth on my ACER ASPIRE A315  can suddenly not be switched on again
In MS-ActionCenter 'Bluetooth" startup/shutdown -button is missing
The MS-Bluetooth -System-App does not help either  .. ;-(

My actions untill now:
1) reboot several times ( after 1st reboot Bluetooth -function was shortly back, then suddenly again missing
2) reboot in safe mode, then reboot in normal mode
3) checked running processes;  2 Bluetooth processes are running ( should be 3 ? )
4) In MS-DeviceManager first deleted hardware -device Bluetooth, then reboot
4) In MS-DeviceManager first deleted software -devce Bluetooth, then reboot

All this did not help
Who can help me ?

thanks in advance

Same Bluetooth problem back again .. Grrrrrrr
How knows cause , solution ?

In future try pressing either the F3 key only or the Fn + F3 together and see if both the BT and WiFi gets activated, allot of people don't realise this option which is very clearly outlined in allot of manuals.

Something that MS has done to Bluetooth drivers, I think. It's only been in the last few months that we've been seeing issues like this and they aren't just on one model or Bluetooth card.

@billsey and StevenGen:  Thanks for your tips. I tried reboot with F3 and Fn+F3.  I dit not get info about startup of BT and/or WIFI. The startup -creen stayed black, then ACER logo, then black, then Laptop-login. But after 1st Reboot with using F3 the BT device was back again.  Question for how long it will stay this time. Tomorrow I get a BT dongle and hopefully the dongle is more reliable than inside device

Your BT should be active all the time and after rebooting and/or shut downs, the F3 and Fn + F3 option should be used only to revive and/or activate your WiFi/ BT, this is done after rebooting into Win-10 and logging into the operating system. This is a cure if the WiFi and/or BT is not active and should not be used if the drivers are corrupted or the WiFi/ BT PCIe Mini card is faulty, this option is usually done when you replace and/or update a WiFi/ BT drivers and after a reboot and should make your WiFi/ BT work all the time.

You don't need to do the F3 during boot, it toggles Bluetooth and WiFi even when the OS is running.
