I was hoping to upgrade my Aspire ES14 ES1-432-C65J to at least 4gb for work. Don't really know what info you need so I kind of dumped them in this thread. Thanks!

Hmmm... it may, or may not be.

From what I saw in those screenshots, the RAM you have currently installed is soldered onto the motherboard (CPU-Z seems unable to show any data on the SPD tab). But I wonder if you have any extra slot in which you could put a stick.

You'll have to open the laptop (literally, but being the laptop that it is, the job just boils down to some screws in the bottom part most likely and looking for empty (or even populated) RAM slots.

I wrote a guide on RAM upgrades a while ago that could prove useful if not for this time, for other times (there's a screenshot of what a populated and unpopulated RAM slot looks like in there too): https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/608352/guide-how-to-find-out-if-you-can-upgrade-the-ram-and-which-one-you-need

Thank you so much, this was helpful advice! I ended up not opening the laptop -- it's barely a year old and I didn't want to mess with the warranty. I don't have much hope for an extra slot but I'll explore these options when I can!
