Of course you can, Win-10 version 2004 OS build 190.41.388 is the best windows yet, very reliable and fast, this the latest and will not be the version that is on the Microsoft site at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 “Create Windows 10 installation media” on either USB or DVD etc as I don’t know what the latest Win-10 installation tool version of Win-10 is for USB or DVD? But check and update accordingly.

I would strongly recommend that you upgrade to Win-10 but download the Win-10 “Create Windows 10 installation media” through your Win-8.1 operating system and create your installation USB that way and when you get to “Select language, architecture, and edition” make sure that you check the square “Use the recommended options for this PC” as this will match your Acer Aspire E1-570 UEFI BIOS and will format the USB to be the same and compatible. Also,  make sure that your Acer Aspire E1-570 has the latest bios v2.06 dated 2016/08/03 and that when you do your installation do a “Clean Install of Win-10” as that is the best way to update.

Note: make sure that you backup all your important and personal files from your Win 8.1 before you do a “Clean Install of Win-10”

Also, before you upgrade, make sure that you have a Microsoft account e.g. a hotmail.com account etc that is registered with Microsoft, as when you upgrade (if the Win-8.1 key is still viable? Which I think it is, as I’ve upgraded a system from Win-8.1 to Win-10 just recently) then use the same Win-8.1 key for your new Win-10 upgrade but, do this after you have installed Win-10 and then go into Settings > Update & Security > Activation > Update product key and put your Win-8.1 key in there and wait for Win-10 to register and for Microsoft to give you a “Windows is activated with a digital license linked to your Microsoft account” activation.

pvkathiravan7, there is no problem with your computers specs, they are more than enough to run Win-10 Pro, whcih is what you will get with an upgrade to Win-10. You can upgrade within Win-8.1 but, its better if you do a "Clean Install" of Win-10 because an upgrade causes allot of problems and there is allot of leftover files from Win-8.1 that can cause problems and incompatibilities later on, especially with certain software. Do what I've instructed you to do as that is the best way to upgrade to Win-10 (take it from me as I’ve done lots of upgrades and that is what I’ve found out from experience to be the best) but, make sure that you backup all your personal and needed files from Win-8.1 before you do the "Clean Install" of Win-10.

You can do an internal update of Win-10 from within Win-8.1 by downloading the "Windows 10 .ISO file" and do an upgrade internally in Win-8.1 and following these instructions from here: https://pureinfotech.com/upgrade-windows-10-mounting-iso-file/ but I wouldn’t do it that way, it’s up to you?
