Has anyone else had an issue with the Predator Helios 300, PH317-53 where their audio jack won't output any power or recognize anything plugged in? I had a condenser mic hooked up to it for a few months, and i was looking forward to upgrading to a headset so i could combo it easily, but recently my microphone won't receive any power at all, and plugging in normal earphones wont work either. I haven't tried unplugging my current USB speakers, so that might be the issue, but I wanted to know whether this is an issue anyone has had. I thought maybe reinstalling a fresh install of windows but keeping my data might resolve a driver recognition issue, if there is any, but I'm not quite ready to reinstall and delete all my programs, especially when I'm not sure what the issue is so far or whether i need to get it fixed.

oh, another reason why i assume it's a driver issue is because the windows audio pop up when you change volume doesn't work when doing Fn + raise volume, and skipping tracks forwards, backwards, and pausing them does not work at all.

UPDATE: I plugged in my mic to test stuff out, and apparently the condenser mic, plugged straight in through a mic and audio output merger, now is replacing the input of the microphone array which is supposed to be the webcam mic??? the quality sounds spectacular, the quality it was before i assumed it "broke" and came out all muffled. I am baffled and I wonder whether i need to get my laptop repaired or a BIOS/ fresh install/
