KGA271 27" Monitor Display Port not working from time to time

Hi,
I've had this specific Monitor for quite some time (bought more than 2 years ago) and occasionally the display port stops working. Sometimes a simple reboot of my computer is enough or replugging the cable, but today I had to remove the power supply cable for some time before it started working again (my computer was in energy safe mode for ~2hrs, which usually isn't a problem).
I am running it as the center of a 3 monitor setup with 2x XF240H 24" on the side on an Nvidia GTX 1070
Swapping the cable also didn't help with one of my side monitors, the other is using HDMI. Any reason why this occasionally is a problem? Anything that I could do to prevent this from happening?

Thanks for any help!

The newer monitors sometimes get confused, and just turning them off doesn't actually wipe all their internal smarts. If you pull the power cable, then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds or longer you can often get it back more quickly. Just plug it back in and turn it on... You can also get weird artifacts if the cable isn't all the way clicked into it's lock. And the last thing I can think of is dirty power, if you're connected to a surge arrestor try taking the problem monitor off and connecting it directly to the wall, or visa versa...
