The charging LED is blinking orange which used to be constantly lit up earlier. I tried doing battery reset, draining and charging for few hours before usage as well. Also tried - uninstalling the battery drivers from device manager, my laptop shutsdown after uninstalling Microsoft ACI adaptor and ACPI compliant control method battery. Please help.

Are you able to check the battery wear percentage? You can check it in HWmonitor, or using powercfg /batteryreport

To do a battery report from cmd prompt do this:

    1.     Open the command prompt.

    2.     Type in: powercfg /batteryreport

    3.     Make sure all hidden folders are shown

    4.     Open the report in: Users/xxxx/ Battery report.html so you can see the full report

Have a look in the above report specifically at “Battery capacity history - Charge capacity history of the system's batteries” as that will tell you the condition of your battery and if its charging and/or if its a dead battery and not charging.

Also, have a look at this guide "“How to Calibrate Your Laptop Battery” here: https://techviral.net/calibrate-laptop-battery/

And since the wireless adapter is also hooked, i am looking to download the hwinfo via my phone now. Also pls if someone can check..does the invalid command output ring a bell pls

ShubhG3_572 the battery report wont provide the wear percentage and im not going to calculate it manually myself so its irrelevant to me  thats why i asked to provide it via the other software but its your right to refuse so :)

@ShubhG3_572 the battery wear seems to be fine...about 15% after two years. The issue might be something else.
