Acer Nitro 7 CPU temperature reaching to 90 degrees

I bought Acer Nitro 7 in January this year and have played many AAA title games like Witcher 3, Call of Duty WW2 etc. I get decent and playable frames for every game (60+) on high quality but the problem is cpu temperature.

If I set my performance profile in Acer Nitro Sense on High Performance the CPU temperatures rise to about 90 degrees and GPU to 70-80 degrees. I have read on forums and got to know that this in not a safe temp to operate any laptop and this may decrease my components life. I have undervolted my cpu but still the problem persist.
If I set the performance profile to Balanced and disable the turbo boost function the temps are fine and below 85 degrees. But problem about that is , it decreases frame rates in many online games like GTA 5. On high performance I have 55+ frames all time and on balanced the frames even drop to 40 which makes the game laggy. So whenever GPU is in use, the cpu temps goes very high.

In normal use CPU temps are 35-50 (50 when using chrome and heavy IDE's like Android Studio or Softwares like Photoshop, Maya etc.)

Is there a solution where I can play my online games like GTA 5 , CSGO on decent frames and keep temps below 85 atleast ?

I also read somewhere that Nitro and Predator laptops are designed to run at 90 degrees and are safe at that temperature, if they reach to a situation where it may cause permanent damage, the laptop will automatically shut down. Is it true ??
In the end, I just wanna ask , Should I worry much about it ?? I just want to play games with my friends at decent frames and graphics quality without looking at temps all the time.

Note:

- I have a cooling pad

- I cannot go for Thermal Paste change due to covid situation currently.

- I have also set the Maximum Processor state to 99% to disable turbo boost.

My Specs:

CPU : i5 - 9300H 2.40Ghz

GPU : Nvidia GTX 1660 ti

RAM : 8 Gigs

Monitor Refresh rate : 144 Hz

Internal GPU : Intel UHD Graphics 630

Are you from India? Or any similar tropical country with Ambient Temperature >30 C?
Sadly enough, 90 C is a common temperature for this laptop and many others in such countries. My Laptop runs at similar temperatures with GTX 1050 and i5.

To be fair, India is not the country they have in mind while engineering the CPUs and Laptops, they measure and prepare for 20 C ambient or even less, that's why I consider Winter to be the gaming paradise for us over here. The temporary solution can be to reduce in-game settings in non-competitive games a bit and play with a frame cap at 60 fps. That's what I am doing at the moment. Temperatures at least don't go above 90 in most cases

Yes I am from India, and as you know currently Summer season is in it's full heat mode normal temperature can be 35-40 degrees.
I put a limit on fps in non competitive games or offline story games but cannot limit for competitive games like CSGO, Valorant etc. as it ruins the whole purpose of having a mid range cpu and gpu. But still, I will try to lower down some in-game settings and resolutions to achieve decent frames and lower temps.

I wanna ask, from how long are you playing on high temperatures, like how long it's been since you had your system ? Have you seen any long term effects of these temps ? Is everything still working fine ?
I am asking this because I am only worried about the thing that such high temperatures will wear down cpu/gpu life. If not, then maybe I shouldn't worry that much.

I purchased the device at almost the same time as you, December last year. My device is working just fine so far and there is minimal performance degradation the last time I had checked on UserBenchmark (~1 month ago), I will check today and confirm again, if I see any degradation
Try to game less often in summers, that's what I am doing, thankfully for me, Delhi is cooling down already, going down to the 20s, so I can game a little ore freely

I got some fairly great news!
My CPU has in fact started getting better Percentile Scores than before in Userbenchmark, my GPU is just running at 70th Percentile, but I guess that is because of the messed up Graphic Driver with this Windows Update, hopefully it is resolved.
So, I guess if we play in limited amounts, (I play ~3h per day) we are good to go

Glad to hear that !!!

I keep the turbo boost off for most of the games, and without turbo-boost temp barely crosses 75 with decent frames. But in games like GTA V, CSGO, Valorant where I like more smoother experience I turn the boost. All in all I think we are safe and I can game without looking at temp all the time XD.

Btw Any tool you recommend for Benchmarking. I use Intel XTU for stress test but would like to check out some scores of mine. Please do share some links !
