Hello,
I'm planning to buy an eink reader: Onyx Boox Max 3 with 2200*1650 resolution.
Unfortunately, I was told by JackE that my notebook ( Acer Aspire E5 571G 560y) can support a maximum of 1920x1080 at 60Hz output by the HDMI port. ( Despite the fact that it has Intel 5500 discrete GPU and a dedicated GeForce 840M, both of which are technically (!) capable of 4K and above.)

Do you think that a remote desktop app (E.g. Spacedesk) could be a solution for me (being used via Wi-Fi)? Can I bypass those limitations of resolution mentioned above this way?

Thank you!
