Detailed specs, ideally with photos of internals, for Extensa laptop, from internet

I have some concerns that my laptop may have undergone hardware tampering. To verify that this has likely not taken place, I was wondering whether I could receive photographs of how the laptop should look on the inside, over the internet. I would then compare the received photos, with what I have in my laptop, using visual inspection.

Also, obtaining a detailed textual description of the internals would be helpful. In such cases, I could then perhaps go to the websites of the various manufacturers of the individual parts, and request photographs of their parts instead of getting them from Acer or the Acer community. I understand that I may be able to obtain such detailed information by running software on the laptop, however, if the laptop has undergone tampering, the information may describe the tampering and not what the laptop ought to be.

P. S. This question is more of an exercise than something providing a specific solution to a specific problem. I would like to know how easy this process this is, in relation to buying Acer computers in the future. If it's difficult, then maybe I'll go elsewhere for my computing devices.

That's a bit of an oldie, vintage Windows 8 and early enough to have supported a downgrade to Windows 7. I can show you the motherboard:

As you will notice it's shown without much populated, so yours, for instance, will have a CPU heatsink and memory installed. Depending on which SKU you have you might have a GPU and VRAM installed on 3 and 19. 17 typically has the WiFi card inserted, 15 and 16 are for the ODD and HDD. You will also have memory installed in one or both of the 11 sockets.

At first look there doesn't seem to be much that could be compromised. It's much easier to hack the software than the hardware, especially on a laptop where things differ so much from model to model.

First of all Mark, what is the exact model number of your Extensa laptop? As there are a few different models to ever advise you on your exercise. Also, you will find the same difficulties with every other type(s) of laptops in obtaining parts and to fulfil your exercise, just remember, a laptop is not a desktop and laptops don’t have the same flexibility for upgrades as a desktop.
