Hi everyone,

I have currently installed another SSD (M.2) onto my laptop with 512gb on it, but that doesn't seem to be enough for me right now. I was hoping that I could replace my current and primary HDD (1tb) with another SSD that has an additional 512gb on it. Is it possible? I THINK it is, but some confirmation would make me feel much better before I proceed into messing around with my laptop again and buying another compatible product for it. If it is possible, what types of SSDs would be suit to replace the HDD?

Yes you can, you can replace the 2.5 inch spinner HDD (1TB) to a 500Gb, 512Gb, 1TB to 2TB 3D NAND SATA 2.5 inch SSD of your choice as a slave, just pug it staight into the SATA pug of your spinner HDD (1TB), its a very simple conversion

I forgot to mention that by primary, I mean that the HDD is what my laptop came with. I actually managed to transfer the OS onto the SSD that I installed.

Yes you can, just take the primary drive out and replace it with an ssd, simple, it’s a PnP (plug and play) type of a swap.
