Hey.
I have been getting a lot of performance issues on my acer nitro 5 (AN515-42 R5ED) and I'm suspecting it is because of HPET.
I've tried countless bcdedit commands in the command prompt and have noticed performance drops with HPET emulation, but I don't know the best configuration for my device? HPET off or on?
To elaborate, I've been trying turning off HPET in device manager, using bcdedit /set useplatformclock true, useplatformtick true, disabledynamictick true, etc.

So which configuration should I use? What does useplatformtick do and should I turn it off? (I've heard it's a synthetic timer). Should I disable hpet in cmd but leave it on in device manager? I'm so confused.

Thanks for helping out!
