The problematic games range from FIFA 19 to Metro Exodus. Even NFS Payback stutters frequently, given the specs i expected better gaming experience from my Acer Nitro 5!!
The maximum temperature CPU has reached while gaming is 102 deg and 95 deg for GPU.
I've tried launching the game from the Radeon adrenalin to no avail.
The laptop is plugged in every time I play games on it, the drivers are up to date and performance is  set to high in both nitrosense and battery settings.
Radeon version - 20.5.1
RAM - 8 Gigs
Processor - AMD Ryzen 5 3550H with Radeon vega Mobile Gfx 2.10GHz

Both are overheating, so normal behavior...

    Tq for ur reply!!!!
But my problem is not overheating, it is about crazy fps drops and frequent stuttering while gaming. Atleast Fifa 19 should be fluid but that too stutters from time to time.

102C is an overkill for the CPU and you are telling me that it is not overheating? Same for the GPU... Just FYI at 95C the CPU begins to throttle... so what do you think, why there is an  FPS drops?

I've known that it overheats and i have a cooling pad to cool it down... the temps i provided are the max observed after continuous gaming for 7-8 hrs and moreover nitrosense does a good job in cooling it down. The primary issue here is in gaming and not the heat of cpu and gpu..

Ok, let`s leave overheating alone then. Download and run userbenchmark and post the link here.

'"Memory0.9 GB free of 8 GB", so imagine what happens when you game.
This here is also not to be overlooked "Very high background CPU (35%)."  Look at mine in the signature for comparison.

Yeah, that's what I've been trying to figure out... how come Background CPU is so high and memory is so ***** low!!!

Well you have to look which procceses are running in background and how much memory are consuming. Have in mind that you have only 5,9gb usable as 2.1gb are reserved for the Vega 8, so consider upgrade in the future.

Kill all unnecessary procceses, but still 5,9 gb minus ~1,5gb for windows that leaves you with 4,4gb for gameing which is not enough these days...

The background processes are at 100 and increasing..I've never really noticed this before..should this be the root cause??

So 1,5gb for windows is for a clean fresh install so yours now consumes ~1,8-2,3 and from the screenshot - chrome and antimalware are eating 1gb more, so do the math. And yes this is the main reason for your issue

This is what it looks like on startup... basically 30% of memory is always being used... which and how do i stop these processes??

Sorry I am  not a regular windows user and not that familiar which procceses are important or not and to be honest I would not do this to myself for 40-50$ for an additional 8gb of RAM.
