Temp Issues and Possible Upgrades to Help Overall Performance

I bought an ACER Predator Helios 300. Exact model: https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/predator-model/NH.Q5PAA.001

I mainly play Modern Warfare, FO76 and Outer Worlds--as well as a few others. However, my CPU temps reach 85c right after launching a match in Modern Warfare and cause my game to crash. Can I get some suggestions on how to fix this and I'm also interested in any possible upgrades that will boost performance such as RAM upgrades or anything for that matter. Any and all information would be greatly appreciated. I'm a beginner and not very fluent in computer language so I may have to ask questions and have answers 'dumbed down' for me. Thanks!

@N64 if you havent already optimise your windows properly (check my signature to learn more about it) and undervolt it further with TS check here make sure the back its lifted 2/3 inches at all times for a proper airflow and if still needed repaste it with kryonaut or similar if youre able to without voiding your warranty otherwise send it back to acer to get it repasted with stock paste cpu shouldnt go above 85'ish and gpu 70/75 max regarding the ram make sure youre in dual channel i recommend hyperx or vengeance 2666 ignore the stock ram as you wont be able to match it with the exact cl unless you buy a used stock sodimm form someone to match it the best its always get a ready dual channel set either 2x8 or 2x16 and either keep the stock for safe keeping or sell it good luck

Bare in mind cod its not properly optimised so everyone has temp issues even on desktops make sure you test a properly optimised game to get the real temps
