Temperature goes to 85-95 Celcius when gaming even at low settings .Is it okay?

I have Predator Helios 300 (2019) edition with specs

CPU : i5 9300H (with factory undervolt of -0.125V )
GPU : nVIDIA GTX 1660 tI (6gb) current driver 451.48
RAM : 16 GB (Single Channel)
OS : Windows 10 (build 2004)

Cpu temperature goes high as 85-95 C while gaming with Fans on Max Mode.
I tried playing games on low settings but temperatures remain the same.
I played FarCry 3 in medium, low and Ultra settings at temperature 91C
Battlefield 1 with ultra settings at 94 C .

Everything was okay during Dec-March when temperature ranges were between 65-80 C.
Is there any seasonal effect on the gaming temperature or it is usual during summers?

ajax97 you can but i wouldnt i would buy a full set it wont match the same CL as i said its almost impossible to match the oem stock ram unless you buy it used from someone else but its up to you and your own budget

What is the exact model of the notebook? example an515-51-75kz. Have you tried to replace the thermal paste and clean the fans? Is your notebook under warranty?

I have PH315-52. yes it is under warranty and I haven't repasted it yet. I bought it in November last year

ajax97 have you optimise your windows properly and undervolted check here if not do so and the cpu shouldnt go above 85'ish and gpu 70/75 max if undervolting doesnt solve anything that means you have a bad thermal paste application either can repaste it yourself with kryonaut or similar if you can without voiding your warranty (if there isnt any seals/stickers) or send it back to acer to get it repasted with stock thermal paste good luck

PS: also its normal that the temps go up a bit during the summer make sure the fans and exit airflow are properly cleaned and you have the back lifted 2/3 inches at all time for a proper airflow

When you limit the processor to 95% in power options, do temperatures drop?

egydiocoelho yes, temperature drops to 64-70 C by limiting the processor to 99%, but doesn't it hurt the performance?
My cpu is already undervolted as I checked in Intel XTU.

ajax97 yes if u disabling turbo boost it will decrease the performance on many games/apps that might need it to boost what you should do its what i have already advised above unless your fine with having the cpu on default clock speeds only but then again why buy a gaming laptop to cripple it better just getting a normal one

ajax97 if you are on mobile you cant see signatures on the mobile website version only desktop also another advice you should have the ram in dual channel this means 2 sodimms same size clock/CL either 2x8 or 2x16 one single its not good i recommend dual channel sets either hyperx or vengeance 2666mhz for get your stock ram or sell it to someone oem rams are manufacturers only not easy to match as they are not sold publicly

AlfredoMascarenhas if your on warranty definitely send it back for them to check what they have done there and when they return it you can if u wish repaste it yourself with kryonaut or similar good luck
