Okay so.. I have a
Predator PH315-52
i5-9300h
1660 TI
8GB RAM
I want to upgrade my ram to 16GB soon. First question, is this model dual channel? and secondly, will upgrading void my warranty? Im in the UK, cant see any stickers covering screws etc.
Also... a slightly different matter. Is this still a good gaming laptop for 2020 to play AAA games thatre coming out? not particularly up to date on specs etc.
Thankyou :)

I still think that this model will be able to run more recent games.

@Nathan9505 my advice forget the stock ram and get hyperx 2666 dual channel set 2x8gb thats the best you can get stock ram cannot be exactly paired they are oem sodimms only made for manufacturers not available to sell anywhere ram and hdd are always upgreadable without voiding the warranty by default unless the seller/shop had put warranty stickers on it to avoid the user to upgrade it and in the uk by default you dont have any warranty stickers (as far as i have seen all models that i had repasted) you can even open it to ugrade the ssd and even repaste it without voiding your warranty and a 1660ti its the minimum you can get to game properly with decent fps on latest games but dont expect high fps on ultra settings theres not much difference between the 1660ti and 2060 apart from the rtx support the performance its similar they are both good entry level gpus
