Windows 10 broke my way of disabling Intel Boost from locking the CPU to 2.2Ghz Laptop overheats
Microsoft has a way of breaking things whenever it updates, especially the big "feature" updates. I have had my Predator PH315-51 from overheating by disabling turbo boost in the CPU section of advanced power management settings since I am locked out of the BIOS. Now that setting is gone and gone from "off" to either "on" or "Aggressive" now my idling temps have gone from 39 degrees to over 60 degrees and even a small load pushes it to 98-99 degrees until the laptop crashes (WHEA Uncorrectable Error) from overheating. I tried using XTU but it won't push down the clock speed. HELP!
