Have a Lenovo Ideacentre AIO, running Windows 10. After a recent Windows update, my monitor (operating as an extended display) now only offers 640 x 480 resolution.

Tried updating monitor Drivers but says latest driver installed. Looked on Acer site and drivers only for Windows 7. I've the latest AMD Radeon drivers for the graphics card and still no joy. I've even used the AMD graphics software to try to customise the resolution via that route and that hasn't worked either. It's driving me mad as I now have a 27 inch paperweight that's a perfectly good monitor but not working properly on this machine. Please help.

Right click on the desktop and choose Display Settings. Select the display to check what the resolution is and whether there is an alternate available. If not go to Advanced display settings and pick the display. What does it show there? Try Display Adapter properties for the display. Maybe take pictures for each step and show them here. I'm betting things have just been reset to the lowest settings and we just need to fix the one place.
