I have a Helios 300 and my battery was working fine, today gaming with the charger my laptop shut down upon retard I notice the battery was at 0%. About 10 minutes later it went back 100%.

Is this a software issue ? Or is my batterY actually failing?

kindly note I had Acer change my battery last year.

Twiyah check your battery wear with hwinfo or battery bar pro if more than 20% consider replacing its faulty the cells are dying wont hold the designed capacity anymore (most probably due to gaming on battery or high demanding works) also never use it on battery only and when gaming always make sure the battery its 100% charged and always on AC if the wear its fine uninstall the acpi drivers perform a battery powerdrain reset bios to defaults and let windows install the drivers again check if its fixed to maintain the battery you should re calibrate it once every 3/6 months completely discharge and recharge to 100% repeat 3 times good luck :)
