Hello
So apparently, many acer nitro 5 users have this problem (which I saw in the internet) and no fix can be found in this issue because there is no option in the bios to set the memory. I know this is a stupid question but can I still run games smoothly with 8gb ram but only 5.9 gb usable, AMD Ryzen 7 3750H (CPU), and 4gb Nvidia GTX 1650 (GPU). Sorry not really good with specs especially how ram and vram works to run a video game.

5,9 usable but you have to consider windows 10 consumes 1,5 when naked and idle and can go up to 2 with a little help + some additional programs and some background processes ... you can do the math . Some light game will run ok some not... You better get another 8gb module and you will run then everything smooth, even you CPU will benefits from the dual channel.

So there is nothing I can do but to upgrade my ram? Ok so if 8gb ram has 6gb usable (75%) and 2gb reserved memory for the igpu, Will my igpu stay with a reserved memory of 2gb if my ram is 12gb(new upgraded ram)? Or the reserved memory of the igpu will increase? I'm worried that the more ram I have, the more memory will be reserved in my igpu.

Nope, 2,1 is fixed amount of dedicated memory for the Vega 8 so you will have 13,9 usable if you get one more stick.
