I bought a Nitro 5 (the model is n°
N17C1) a few months ago. I love it, but I have issues with the
ethernet connexion.
Most of time it just doesn't work, and
I get a message that says, "La carte SecureLine n'est pas
activée" (The SecureLine card isn't activated), then "La
configuration ethernet n'a pas d'adresse IP valide" (meaning,
the ethernet connexion doesn't have a valid IP config) and/or "La
carte SecureLine n'a pas de configuration IP valide" (same idea,
but with the SecureLine card).
The livebox has a red cross on it when
I look at my antivirus software's report.
Sometimes it just doesn't detect the
connexion. At other times, it says "Public network" but
doesn't find the internet connexion and sends me the same messages.
At other times, I unplung and re-plug
the ethernet cable and the connexion works.
So I'm not sure whether the problem is my
antivirus software and VPN (Avast), or the socket (I tried to use
different cables).
Any idea about what's wrong and what I
can do?
