There is a light on my mouse by the scroll wheel, and whenever I move my mouse it blinks white. Is there a way to get rid of the blinking?

Which model of computer do you have? Is there a model number on the mouse? I wonder if the plastic is just warped a bit giving an opening that the light can leak through or if the mouse has been designed to light up.

I have the Acer Aspire Z24-890-UA91 all in one. It looks like it's designed to light up, but I cant find any settings to disable it. Its the mouse that came with the computer, though

Yeah, I can't find any specs that say there is supposed to be a light or not... Does it look like you could block the light with some electrical tape, or would that interfere with the scroll wheel? Worse comes to worst you could just pick up a cheap mouse to replace it...

The white flashing light is a low battery level warning. I've just discovered this myself. Mouse was occasionally failing to work as well. Just replace the battery, or recharge if it's a rechargeable one.
