My Acer AspireE laptop stopped working, can I use my 1-year warranty?

A couple weeks ago my laptop stopped working. My system wouldn’t respond and the only thing thay lit up was the charging port when I plugged it in, but the keyboard and screen were still dark. I’m wondering if I can use my 1-year warranty that hasn’t ended or if Acer even covers something like this because I wouldn’t want to pay shipping and wait even longer only to have them reject it because it doesn’t qualify for the warranty. There are some mild scratches but nothing too serious, should I try sending it to Acer Repair or should I just give it up and buy a new one?

Sophiaroo Click 'Acer worldwide' at the bottom of this webpage. Choose your country. Then click on support, enter your machine's serial number id (SNID) and arrange for a warranty repair as soon as possible. Don't delay. Jack E/NJ

I’ve done all this I’m just not sure if they would accept my laptop for a repair

What do you mean you've done all this? Did you enter your serial number id (SNID)? If yes, what happened after that? Jack E/NJ
