Hello!
I bought an Acer A715-72G-73QB laptop about a year ago, and half a year ago I put an M.2 SSD in it. I noticed some time after that after a 1.5-2 hour gaming session my battery drains to about 95% hwne plugged in. I did not care about it, until recently I played for a 1.5 hour and the battery percentage was like 60%. What might be the problem? The power adapter is faulty or the laptop or it can be solved in software?
I'd really appreciate your help.

This is normal behavior. The battery must be near 100% charged and plugged in BEFORE heavy gaming loads for maximum play time. The reason is that when the CPU/GPU and other hardware use more power than the charger can deliver, the hardware must get the extra power from the battery. Thus at these times, the battery is not being charged by the charger because the charger is delivering all its power to the hardware. The battery will naturally discharge at these high gaming load times. There is nothing wrong with your charger or laptop. They are operating normally under heavy loads. Jack E/NJ
