While playing games only the wireless adapter goes off, and the wireless icon in then taskbar is no where to be found but the airplane icon is there. When this happens i noticed that the Qualcomm driver disappears in the device manager and even though i scan it wont detect it. I've tried many methods to fix it eg:
1) Network reset
2) ip config reset
3) restart the laptop
4) to allow wireless driver when it uses a lot of power
4) Uninstalled driver and restarted

I checked for drivers in the acer website for my Laptop which is Aspire E15 E5 575G, and it says the latest driver is 11.0.10427 where as the driver which is currently in my laptop is 12.0.0.722. when i checked online this driver has newer updates like 12.0.0.938. No idea whether to get this from out source.
Please help me on this issue.

Omg, i thought i was the only person facing this issue. My laptop is ACER ASPIRE VX 15 and in this month of June i am also facing same issue. I am on the latest version 12.0.0.938 of wifi driver. Did you manage to solve the issue ? I am wondering if it is happening due to any recent Windows Update?

Same issue occurred with me on the same laptop this month. No solution could come up on google thought there is problem with my nvidia card or wifi is dying because of the heat but one day I opened the back panel and just ejected and reinserted the wifi card and the issue was fixed. Right now I am using driver version 12.0.0.448 and it's working flawlessly.
