Hi, i started noticing a few months back that my gpu (nvidia gtx 1050 ti) is inactive most of the time, even when i'm gaming. I tried to force the use of the GPU in the Nvidia control panel, windows panel, updated to the last drives, used TrayPdwd3 and everything, and the problem presists and the gpu only activates randomly. Is there any way to force the use of the gpu? It doesn't make sense to have the cpu at 90% of use and the gpu inactive

    you need do like this↓

    Right Click on your desktop

    2. Click NVIDIA Control Panel

    3. Click Manage 3D Settings on the left menu

    4. Click the drop down menu for Preferred graphics processor under the Global Settings tab

    5. Select High-performance NVIDIA processor from the list

    6. Click Apply to save your changes.

    After applying above settings

Now,open nvidia software go 3d settings and add your game .exe file and set plan high performance nvidia processor then you can open you game

(add your game .exe/program.exe file and set plan high performance nvidia processor if you want that program to run in GTX 1050TI)

Hi, thanks for the reply, but as i said i already tried that and nothing changed. A few times the gpu is active and stays that way until i restart the pc, but most of the time is inactive when i start the pc

@rmaia (Don't forgot to set turbo plan from predatorsense)
Most of time dedicated gpu will be inactive.
It will only run when there is demand for high performance(eg→while gaming)

But the predatorsensor overclocking only works is the gpu is active, and even when im gaming, like cod:warzone, it doesnt activate. And since i play using only the cpu, sometimes it stutters.I set High-performance NVIDIA processor for my games, it should use the nvidia gpu but it doesn't

Download→run userbenchmark then post result link here

1)What is your nvidia control panel version?
2)did you in task manager if nvidia gpu is running?
