Hello everyone. I have an issue while playing any game with my laptop.

The problem is that my laptop doesn't choose a more powerful video card as the one to be used when playing games.

My laptop is acer aspire 5 (A515-41G-T531) and it has to video cards:
#1 AMD Radeon R5 (512mb of memory) Indicated as the main one in amd software
#2 AMD Radeon 500 series (2048mb)

There is no option to switch from using the R5 to 500 series on my laptop and therefore, any game is just a showcase of how 10 fps look like (no matter the graphic settings). The AMD software just allows you to switch to "energy saving" option or to "performance option" which doesn't change anything, it still decides to use the less powerful videocard.

So as far as I can see the situation, I have paid for a laptop with a videocard for 2gb which can't be used and that is kinda strange if not to say more.

So logically my question is, is there a way to switch the videocards in settings somewhere ?

Thank you for any help.
