How do I merge partitions on Aspire S24-880 All-in-One?

I have extremely low space (85MB) on drive C , yet still have half a terabyte on drive D data.  Why acer insist on splitting partitions with a recovery one in-between partitions C and D, to prevent one from merging them is ridiculous and only means they don't want you to (cheers acer).

How may I merge these partitions with a recovery one stuck in-between them?

Thank you.

    Hi,
You could move partitions with Minitool Partition wizard free, download and install, then use the tutorial to move the Recovery partition to the front of C partition to make C and D partitions next to each other.HTH.

Do you have one of the models with two drives in it? A smaller SSD and a larger HDD? If so that explains why you have a C: and D: drive instead of just one big partition. Fire up Disk Manager and show us a screenshot of it.

I'm struggling to follow the tutorial for moving a partition. Please would anyone be willing to put together an easy step by step guide? I have even tried looking on YouTube, but still too difficult for me to understand, sorry.

    Thank you.

Show us the picture of Disk Manager looking at the disk. You might be able to do what you need without actually moving a partition, or you might have to use a third party utility to do it.

I had attempted to move, but ended up with two unallocated sections on my drive partitions.

Yeah, I like MTPW for this type of thing. You have two possibilities: back up the D drive, delete the partition, create a new one that uses all the space, then restore the backup; or just ignore it. It's only 63MB, or about 6% of 1GB, something like 0.006% of the whole drive. :)
