M.2 SSD upgrade on GX 781

I want to upgrade my sata m2 128mb ssd in my aspire gx 781. I was sold a crucial PCLE and told it worked even if replacing the current sata kingston m2. Has anyone got a PCLE to work on this computer? And if so how. I have tried twice and it will not accept the crucial. It fits the socket even though an m key and not a b.  I looked at BIOS and there is no way of changing to lagacy that I can see and it is ob UEFI.

Hi,
Unfortunately, this model supports only a M.2 SATA SSD, you may have to return it and get a replacement because I couldn't find anyone installing a M.2 NVMe SSD in this model.

Many thanks for your reply. I thought that would be the answer but am fed up with telling crucial this who are refusing a refund based on they say it will work. I have now ordered a sata from Kingston and will keep pus

I am using WD black gen3 NVMe without any problem

sorry... the one i am using is GX-785 not 781... sorry for misleading

GX-785 chipset is B150
