Predator Helios 500 - shift and fn keys aren't working properly

hi there,

there is an issue where both of my shift keys on the keyboard where every time I would tap/press the shift key it would type '&' and if I wanted to type something in caps it would turn out like this '&HELLO'. 
I've tried researching on this issue about this shift key and I did find this post on uninstalling the keyboard &(standard PS/2 keyboard) then restarting the laptop. would I need to reinstall the keyboard once it is uninstalled&? and how&? 

and the fn key would sometimes play up as well. when pressing the arrow buttons on my keyboard, the volume/brightness would be increased/decreased without me pressing the fn key at all. eg. pressing only the up arrow key nothing else, it would increase my volume setting on the laptop.

I am not sure what else to do and it is becoming really annoying to keep removing the '&' everytime i need to use the shift key and having to use other keys to fix my volume. 
if anyone knows what i can do to fix this please let me know

Before you decide to send it in, please go to Safe Mode and see if you still have the problem there.
