Acer Nitro 5 Recurring Stuttering - Nitro AN515-51. Reducing graphics doesn't seem to help

I've been searching all over for an answer to this stuttering issue my Acer Nitro 5 has had. I don't really know how else to fix it or where else to look. It just randomly happens even if I'm not playing a game sometimes, but it's most annoying when I'm playing games. Reducing graphics doesn't seem to help, as setting them all the way down produces the same stuttering result. My game will just be running completely fine, and out of no where, it will just drop to sub 15 frames or worse. My model is Nitro AN515-51,I got a GeForce 1050 ti, 16 GB of RAM and an i7-7700HQ @ 2.8GHz. Maybe an issue with temperature? How can I help reduce stuttering or fix it all in all?

    System is performing as expected.
Just do these changes then play your game

    1.Right Click on your desktop

    2. Click NVIDIA Control Panel

    3. Click Manage 3D Settings on the left menu

    4. Click the drop down menu for Preferred graphics processor under the Global Settings tab

    5. Select High-performance NVIDIA processor from the list

    6. Click Apply to save your changes.

I did that, and I experimented playing after I set it to that. But, I still get random frame drops when every other time my game just runs perfectly fine. I also tried turning off threaded optimization which i heard helped with the random frame drops but to no avail

    Follow my steps→
    1)open nitrosense then minimize it
2)open and play game, when you experience fps drop or shuttering close your game (play at least 5min)
3)now open nitrosense post screenshot here

Having the same issue I have:

    https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/599363/nitro-5-an515-54-76ru-frame-drops-csgo#latest

"I've actually seen many complaints about this online but didnt find a way to fix it unless disabling the turbo mode so it is all the time under performing.
I've reseted the battery play only with laptop fully charged and playing on 4:3 with all on low and after some time playing what happens isnt a thermal throttleling what happens is starts draining the battery so whe it starts charging the laptop I suddently get fps drops for about 5 secs and then goes back to normal but it does it very often when the battery isnt full any more. the only way i found it to stop doing is undervolting the laptop to -0.145 and then the tdp to 30w on short and long. I loose a lot of fps but atleast doesnt drain the battery and i get to play longer without the drops. I'm very disapointed with my product, and im stcuk in bali dues to the covid situation and trying to get bat to europe asap but wont send my laptop to fix or something because i dont know when i will get it back or when i will be flying home.
All drivers are up to date, my bios as well reinstalled the game. tried different settings on throttlestop and clearly acer is giving a AC that doesnt suport the demand of the laptop."

actually i tested something else and worked well changed to pawer saving plan and on nvidia optimized power options... is going well because the AC can handle the task lost some fps but still running csgo 200-350 fps not reaching 600 anymore tho

Been having the same problem since I got my nitro an515-54 in 2020 - plays MGSV FLAWLESSLY, but when I play games like Harvester, Aragami, Costume Quest 2, Darkness 2, Styx, I get  weird stutter that only lasts a moment or so but it's very distraction in some instances. I've tried the listed things on this thread and I'm in the same boat, it's just not working out :/

Same issue here bro, Tested everything tbh but yeah no fix for it, For me it basically randomly micro stutters, Performance and everything is good but it just micro stutters randomly with fps drops when it does that so yeah, Have you tried installing windows from the USB? I'm waiting for the windows 11 update and if that doesn't fix it then I'm going to install Windows 10 cleanly with a USB

I have been having same issues. Playing World of Tanks and the game stops for a few seconds. I opened the task manager and it shows that everytime this happens, the HDD maxes out. I have 128gb ssd and 1tb hdd. I couldnt come up with a different solution to this problem than the HDD being the cause. Is it possible to replace it with SSD?
