Hi to everyone,

Acer Nitro 5 spec info:
Nitro AN515-52
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8300H CPU @ 2.30GHz
8GB RAM
IntelSSD 256GB
bios V1.22

Problem description 1:
I had a nice working laptop with win 10 on it until I installed Nvidia Ge Force 445.87 driver. After that installation I had BSOD with various problem descriptions, I created restore point before installation but it didnt help. Then my acer started to reboot again and again until it comes to automatic repair> diagnose pc.. few times started the windows but it goes down with BSOD. I unistalled nvidia driver from safe mode but didnt help. The I saved my data somehow and decided to do clean install of Win 10 64bit from bootable USB. At first i booted the USB few times but the installation breaks at some point with just rebooting or BSOD. Then I figured that I have a new problem now since that I am doing clean install, SSD is clean and formated no drivers on it.

Problem description 2:
To get to point, next day I started boot USB and I installed win 10 with no problems BUT my power supply was not connected I installed OS on battery. Then I put the power supply into PC and after few moments i have BSOD again. And I tried few times and every time when I put power supply into PC I have BSOD/reboot. I also tried Linux Ubuntu 18.04 LTS , Linux just stops and then I have to shut down PC on a button.

What I figured:
  1. PC works fine with out power supply but I have to charge PC at some point.
  2. I drained battery on about 10% and then I put the Power supply into the PC everything works fine until it came on about 40% battery charged (this is tested about 10 time).

I wonder if anyone had similar problems and if perhaps anyone thinks it has a possible solution???????

THANK YOU.

I would suggest to try with another charger and if the issue is still present, then the charging I/O board could be defective and needs to be diagnosed at the service center.
