Can anybody suggest me a solution, because with my current setup, I am not getting the expected FPS using my brand new laptop. For example: Fortnite, with competitive settings (all set to low except viewing distance was set on epic), I am only getting 80FPS; GTA V (optimal settings using Geforce Experience that is set to Ultra on DX11) I am only averaging an FPS of 50 on the in game benchmark; League of Legends (set to medium) and I am getting only around 80FPS. Wherein my previous laptop, an MSI with an i5 8th gen and GTX 1050 4GB, performs better on Fortnite (120FPS+ with competitive settings), GTA 5 (60FPS+ High Settings DX10) and League of Legends (120FPS+ on ultra settings). I tried looking for the problem. My CPU seemed to be throttling on the first runs but after I turned on turbo mode, the thermal throttling was decreased significantly, but the FPS on games where still the same. Could it be because of my limited 8GB RAM? But the games mentioned supposed to run well on 8GB RAM. I am also planning to upgrade my total RAM to 16GB in the coming days. Any help will do.

    Good Morning PapaLouPH !

    Start with the basics:

Access MSCONFIG and disable ALL applications that start with the system and all non-Microsoft services.
    Uninstall any antivirus.
Perform a temporary system and disk cleanup as an Administrator.
Update the Windows release to 1909.

Check all these questions as well:

1- all drivers and Windows must be properly updated
2- the device must be set to use the Windows high performance power plan
3- seven the minimum and maximum performance of the processor at 100% in both modes (both on battery and plugged into power outlet)
4- the battery must be charged to 100% before playing
5- the battery must be set to advanced power options for maximum performance
6- game applications must be set on the dedicated GPU Panel (Nvidia) to be the main
7- the device must be connected directly to an exclusive power outlet, properly grounded without any adapter
    8- batterybooster must be deactivated
    9- disable the FPS limit
10- seven Intel HD Graphics for maximum performance.
11- all games must be installed on the same disk drive and partition as the operating system

Then restart and do a test.
