Why couldn't a replacement battery be sent instead?

    Did anyone resolve this without getting a new battery????   I opened a ticket before warranty was running out but they wanted me to send laptop in after reset didn't work.  It'll cost me more to send it to them then what a new battery would cost. Is anyone keeping a log of the people effected with this problem?  Acer Care center indicates battery health good but it doesn't charge and laptop has to be plugged in to work.  It's turned into my TV game Console since its no longer portable. Everything else works fine so really not willing to send in and risk shipment. Why couldn't a replacement battery be sent instead?  @Acer-Manny

    KristinaHMight not be the battery if CareCenter senses it's OK. To verify this, go to the elevated command prompt.  Enter 'powercfg /batteryreport'. Then return to the desktop. Open file explorer. Then search for' battery-report.html' in the c:\windows\system32\ sub-folder. Double-click to open it in the browser. Post screenshot of top section of report if possible.     Sorry to hear you have issues with the battery on your Acer unit. Unfortunately, we don't send replacement parts, the warranty is 1-2 yrs repair, and the parts replacements or repairs are done at our service center. Since your unit is out of warranty you can order it and have it mailed to you for a replacement if that's what you prefer or you cant take it to a local trusted technician for replacement.

    I have the same issue but with a different predator laptop. There is a lot of helpful info and different steps to try to see what exactly is the problem. I still don't have a solution for my problem tho. Maybe it will be different for you.
