Swift SF314-56: RAM Upgrade

May I confirm with you all if I can upgrade my RAM? I can't seem to find the answer online.
Exact model is:
ACER SWIFT SF314-56
Current installed RAM: 4GB only

I would like to know if this has more than one memory (SSD) slot like others, or just one. If one, I might have to replace the old RAM.
Also, I saw one article stating that the RAM of this unit is non-removable. O_O Is that true?

Please let me know if it is removable and if I can go ahead and upgrade it. Also, if yes, up to how many GB is its capacity / limit?

Thanks in advance for all your answers. Keep safe!

    hi @laurent_14
    Thank you for your response.
Actually, that's just it (see image below).
Does DIMM slot refer to like an additional/second slot which can be empty right now, and be used if needed? like when user prefers to add another piece of RAM?

Yes, exactly. According to your previous message, this laptop is shipped with 4 GB onboard and one memory slot available supporting one module of 2, 4 or 8 GB.

Awesome, thanks! One last question though:

one memory slot available supporting one module of 2, 4 or 8 GB. ----> so it differs depending on the laptop?
the second slot may have different capacity? or is it just the same for all swift sf314-56 (with maximum capacity of 8 GB)
and it just depends to the user if he/she will like to add 2, 4, or 8 GB?
    hope that makes sense  :)
    thanks!

Yes, it can. It's the same for all SF314-56. You can add 2,4 or 8 GB.

May I ask if SF314-56 can hold an additional 16gb 2400 mhz memory? or is it compatible to install additional 16Gb memory?

    Hello,
I also have an ACER SWIFT SF314-56 with only 4 GB of RAM soldered to the motherboard.
I would like to increase the RAM capacity to 12 GB.
I have bought an 8 GB RAM strip, which I have plugged into my PC but it does not detect the RAM.
My PC should detect 12 GB of RAM but it only detects 4 GB.
    Can you tell me why?
What should I do to make my PC detect the added RAM?

    Thank you for your help!

Here are the specifications of my RAM:
    CRUCIAL 8GB DDR4 2400Mhz SODIMM

Your Swift uses DDR4-2666 SDRAM, so the 2400 will not work. It's too slow.
