I'm having Swift SF514-52T and planning to purchase a 4k monitor. Would like to know whether this can be supported?
SN: NXGTMSM001xxxxxxxxxxxx
SNID: 816xxxxxxxxxxx
This laptop is having Intel UHD Graphics 620 and driver version is updated with 24.20.100.6286 (15-Aug-2018).
I googled Intel website and seems like this is supported but I would like a confirmation from Acer before my purchase.
Also, if supported, do I need to connect via HDMI or USB-C?

Thank you.

Regards,
jY

    Hello,
According to the Acer specifcations, the maximum resolution via the HDMI port is 3840 x 2160p at 30Hz. You should also get it via the USB Type-C port since it supports DisplayPort.

    Hi,
Thanks for your prompt reply. May I know how to change to 30Hz? So far, from the attached pictures, 1920x1080 is the max i can go.
    Appreciate your further guidance. Thanks

    Hello,
You don't see it because you current monitor (1920x1080p 60Hz) doesn't support this refresh rate.

Thanks again. Yes, I managed to test with my TV and 4k resolution is supported. This was done via HDMI, I did not test with USB-C.

    Hello,
I think you should get a refresh rate of 60 Hz via the USB Type-C port (DisplayPort).
