With the charger plugged in, press and hold the F2 key. Then while still holding F2, press the power button to turn the machine on. The BIOS menu should appear. Does the machine still shut off inside the BIOS menu? Jack E/NJ

Did you try to toggle the screen on with the FN+F5 or FN+F6 screen toggle key combination? Jack E/NJ.

  • In addition to what colleague JackE said, try disconnecting the lithium batteries and the rtc for a few minutes.

I already even did those and, I already try removing the entire board and CMOS battery overnight and nothing happened, maybe the motherboard is the issue

Yes. Afraid so. Your external monitor test suggests the integrated CPU graphics has failed. Unfortunately, it is soldered to the mainboard and cannot be replaced. You might however try a directed solder reflow with a heat gun as a last resort to try to salvage the mainboard. Jack E/NJ

Yeah, but I don't have that tools right now and i'm not an expert on soldering thing, but anyway, thank you sir for sharing your knowledge, maybe I'll find someone who can do that. I'm from Philippines by the way and its very hard to find some resources here and people who can do board repairs, but again thank you.

Your other option is a full board solder reflow in a toaster oven. Place the stripped mainboard on an aluminum cookie sheet or foil. Preheat oven to between about 425-450*F. Then bake the board for about 10 mins. to reflow the solder connections. Jack E/NJ

sounds risky, but I'll give it a try, should I remove the CPU Heat sink/cooler?

Yes. But your only other option is to wait and take the laptop to a good local computer diagnostics shop. I would guess the cost for a diagnosis only would be about 1 hour of a technicians labor time. Jack E/NJ
