Hi there,

I have a problem with the screen of my laptop and I want to replace it. But taking advantage of the situation I’d like to install a better one.
I’ve read several threads here where people had the same intentions like this one:

where some replacements are indicated as the working ones, such as:

LP156WF6-SPB1
B156HAN01.2
NV156FHM-N43
In this case, the original screen was a b156htn03.1

However in my case is a LG LP156WH3(TP)(S2), so the mentioned models might not be valid.

All the models indicated as compatible with mine are HD-TN screens, but I would like to replace it with a FHD-IPS screen.

I’m aware about the 1 lane/2 lane wire issue, in case of wanting a higher resolution screen, but as it’s said in the above indicated link, the provided wire for this model (571G) is a 2 lane wire, so no problem with that.

However, I am concerned about what other specifications the replacement must meet in order to choose a fully compatible screen. Do I have to care about:
-Signal interface Model?
-Signal interface Brand?
-Signal pin configuration?. Are models with EDP-30P2L-020A config compatible with EDP-30P2L-030A or EDP-30P1L-030D or EDP-30P2L-020W or EDP-30P2L-020Q ?
I guess 30P = 30 Pin, and 1L/2L = 1 or 2 lanes, (so those 30P1L compatible with 30P2L) but what about the rest?

Any guidance might be helpful.

Thank you in advance for any possible hint.
