Good evening,
I've recently updated my acer 6920g to windows10 but it keeps restarting without an apparent reason, mainly while I'm working with a remote desktop. I don't think the problem is related to the charger, because it doesn't show any problem while my son uses MS teams to study...
Also, the hardware doesn't detect anymore the disk volume D since i formatted it to instal win, and CHKDSK says: "unable to open volume for direct access".
Is there a way to understand what's wrong?

kind regards.

    Press Win+R. Enter 'diskmgmt.msc'. Post screenshot of result if possible. Jack E/NJ

    The external D : drive looks OK in diskmgmt.msc . Can you access it OK from FileExplore? Jack E/NJ

    Sorry, the external disk is the one I plugged in later and it is OK, what I can't find is what the disk managment indicates as "disk 0 partition 2"...

    You can also see it is completely free since I formatted it.

    You mean Disk0 Partition3. That's the 3rd partition. The visible C : \ system drive in FileExplore.  The other 3 partitions 1,2 and 4 on Disk0 are hidden from FileExplore. Everything in diskmgmt.msc still looks good to me. I assume you can see the C : drive in FileExplore. You wouildn't be able to boot into Windows if Disk0Partition3 wasn't there.   :)   Jack E/NJ

    Exactly!Is there a way I can make partition 1, 2 and 4 visibile again? why aren't they labeled D as they used to?

    No!!!! None of the hidden partitions in Disk0 should ever have been labelled D : Only one Disk0 partition should have a label C : . No D : in Disk0.

    Only the external LG Disk1 should be labelled D ;
