How do I reflash the BIOS on a system that will not boot ?

My daughter asked me to see if I could get her 7551G working again. Symptoms are:

On AC power it will power on (the blue power light and blue power button both turn on), the fan runs and if you put a CD in the drive it will spin, but that is all. Nothing on the screen, the HDD light never blinks and I don't hear the hard disk start. The battery will not hold a charge, but I tried it with battery both in and out.

I checked around the forum and have run thru most of the recommended troubleshooting steps but none of them helped. One of the possible solutions I found to the problem was to reflash the BIOS using a tool called CRISDISK (wincris.exe). As a last resort I decided to try to do it, but all the instructions I found tell you to create a floppy disk and put the BIOS file on it, but the 7551 BIOS is 2.05MB, too large to fit on 1.44MB floppy.

So does anyone know a different way to reflash a dead system or have a version of wincris that can use a USB thumbdrive ?

Thanks
