Acer W700 keyboard case question

Is there a way to turn off the keyboard when I don't want to use it? It's a right pain getting the tablet in and out of the case, so generally I just leave it in there. This proves to be a problem though when I just want to use it as a tablet. If I fold the keyboard behind the device and hold it, some keys always end up getting pressed. The keyboard power button doesn't seem to do anything, so I either have to have it in its stood up position with the keyboard out in front, or take the thing out and struggle to put it back in again.

In the future, please make the holding device some elastic straps on all four corners as having a plastic mould is pants. Whenever you get a moulding like this, it's guaranteed that it won't fit properly and is a right pain to get it in. Maybe I am alone here wih this problem, but you don't need to go down this route to hold a device in place.

Holding the power button on the keyboard down for three or four seconds (until the function light flashes once or twice) reliably turns off the keyboard for me. (I don't dislike the mounting for the tablet as much as you do, but I agree that a corners-only approach would be better.)
