Hello, I have had my laptop for the last 6 months and recently I am having problem with it shutting down unexpectedly. I have noticed that this happens whenever the battery percentage falls below 30% and so I tried to keep it in hibernate state whenever the battery level falls below 35 but doing so instead increased the shutting down state from 30 to 40. In order to turn it back on it needs to be charged and for some time (10-15mins) it shows the battery percentage 0% even if the device is kept at charge for hours before use. And if the charger is disconnected while the battery percentage is shown 0% then the laptop shuts down on its own.
Looking into the charge capacity of the battery from Intel GCC the maximum charge capacity has decreased significantly to 70% of the original and with 100% charge capacity can run for ~70 mins.
Please help me with my problem and recommend fixes if you have faced similar problems with your unit.

    Good Morning Kirito_Kgoli !

    Update Windows and drivers.
    Then uninstall the battery AC controller in the device manager.
    Disconnect and reset the battery.
    Call and do a test.

    @MaClane
    Thank You! for your answer but unfortunately the method did not fix my problem rather it is worse now.
    Now the battery indication always show 0% but when disconnected from the AC though the battery indication shows 0% it still continues to stay on but once I shutdown or restart the system it doesn't turn on at all. Once in a while though it shows the battery percentage it stays constant and once the AC is disconnected it shows 0% and the previous stuffs repeat.
    I am open for more suggestions about how to fix this problem.

    I recommend reinstalling your OEM system from the factory.
