I have a 17" Acer monitor that is out of its 3 year warranty. I would like to send it in for repair. 1) who do I contact to get an RMA #?, 2) What is the cost associated with this repair? Is there a flat fee? 3) What is the down time for the unit to be out for repair? 4)Would it be better to purchase new then to send in for repari?

Thank you!

    Hello,

Acer offers only in warranty repairs for monitors. Out of warranty monitors are not repaired.  Your own suggestion to purchase a new monitor seems to be right solution. You may want to check with local tech/reseller what their policy of repair is provided they can obtain parts and depending on type of issue.

    Have a good day.

Thank you! That is what I thought, but I just want to make sure.
