I’ve had the laptop since January and the issue started immediately however it would lag for a second or two so I didn’t worry too much. However it will now freeze for upto twenty seconds which is ridiculous. Today it did it atleast five time’s in a two hour exam.
I’ve had a little search on here and can see it’s annoyingly a common issue with this product and I’m feeling cross I’ve paid out a substantial amount of money for a product with a known fault 🙄
Is there a way to fix this? Please help tech savvy people! Please 🤞🏻
Also please explain to a girl who simply bought it for gaming and doesn’t actually know much about fixing issues 😂

You mean the touchpad or an external mouse?

What is the exact model of the laptop? Should be something like AN515-XX-XXXX

Hey, I had the same issue before on my PC, and a dying HDD caused it.

Trying doing these steps, it might help:
    1. Open your advanced power plan settings.
    2. Expand open Hard disk and Turn off hard disk after, set how many minutes or never for what you want, and click/tap on OK.

Overall, I solved the issue simply by throwing the HDD away from my PC. And I plan to do the same for Nitro's laptop that I currently use, since SSD is much

    I have AN515-55.
For me it was occasional 2 second  lag/freeze (or delayed stuttering movement) of the mouse. This only happened when I was using the touchpad. When I had a mouse plugged in, I never encountered this issue.

Regardless of the charger plugged in or not, this was persistent.

The problem for my issue was slideshow desktop background which made the touchpad lag/stutter whenever the wallpaper changed for a split second.

Anyways, I fixed it by changing from a slideshow desktop background to a static one.
